About the Project
A premium apartment rental platform designed for booking fully equipped stays with stunning interiors and 24/7 guest support in New York City. The platform features an intuitive apartment selection layout, fluid transition effects, interactive maps of NYC neighborhoods, and a streamlined booking checkout flow.
The Challenge
Implementing smooth page transitions and filtering across hundreds of active listings while maintaining a fast, layout-shift-free interface. Standard client-side routing caused noticeable lag when reloading heavy gallery layouts with multiple high-res interior photos.
The Solution
I optimized the image assets using responsive image sets and progressive loading. I developed a client-side state caching layer to keep listings in memory and used GSAP to coordinate layout animations during filters, resulting in immediate filtering transitions.
